One of the things that escapes me in the age of cell phone etiquette are people who refuse to answer phone calls from numbers they don’t recognize.
I mean really, how important are you again? If someone calls your phone, is it automatically a given that the person calling isn’t worth your time because you didn’t take the time to put them into your personal phonebook and assign them a goofy ringtone?
I can understand not answering calls from phone numbers that are from unrecognizible exchanges, but not answering calls from local numbers makes no sense to me. In theory, someone calls you on your phone for a reason and to assume that your time has to be more important thanĀ a potential emergency call from someone is crazy.
And doesn’t it take just as long to listen to the ensuing voicemail? I just don’t get it.

That is where you are wrong and what makes this Country they land of the free. I can answer whatever call i want and ignore whatever call i want. That is also why we pay for voicemail. Most calls come to use during our busy days (maybe your not busy during your day). If i’m in a meeting, i will not answer it unless it’s from my son. So, blog all you want about what you think, but remember WE are all free to do what we want regardless. Have a great day.
